Claire's 9 Month Photoshoot

So I know 9 months isn't a huge photo shoot picture type moment. But hey for me, I use any excuse to go out and practice and she is my cutest subject. :) Although so unwilling to actually look at me... I had to go out another time with daddy so I could get some with her smiling. :)

Tulip Festival

A couple weeks ago we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was a lot of fun and the tulips were beautiful! I got a little camera happy and took a ton of pictures! :) I posted the ones of us on our family blog but these are just of the flowers. This week's I Heart Faces challenge is May flowers. It's not a contest, we just get to show off our flower pictures so here are some of my favorites. :)

Prom

My younger brother went to his Senior Prom this last weekend and asked me to take some pictures for them. It was difficult lighting for me but it was a very pretty setting so I still had some fun with it. :)

Kyle and Courtney

This photo shoot was so much fun for me! It was my first time in an urban setting and working with a couple. I learned so much (including not letting brothers be close by when trying to take serious photos, cuz they just make each other act a little goofy!) :). It was perfect weather for once and I really had a blast! I loved so many of these, so I posted quite a few... :)

I Heart Faces - Slice of Life

This month has been busy, half of which has been spent sick and recovering, so I haven't been able to take many photos. But my husband Scott had a football game yesterday. It was a muddy loss, but a fun game anyways.

I Heart Faces - Anything But A Face!

I took this photo a couple weeks ago right after getting Claire out of the bath. Her feet were all pruny and I took the picture thinking they were cute. Scott however thinks they look weird and alienish. What do you think? :)

Heather's Family

I had the opportunity to take pictures of my sister Heather and her cute family this weekend. My sister and her husband have two adorable children and one on the way. My niece and nephew have so much energy, they were running around everywhere during the photo shoot. I wish they could have shared some of that energy with me! :) I wasn't able to get one family photo with them all looking and smiling in the same direction, but I did get some fun shots of them all. These are the ones I like best. :)
